A beach is one of the places that our participants enjoy during theirs weekends in Florida the most.

Orlando's attractions include other parks than Disney - Universal Studios and Sea World are popular trips.

Some participants might get carried away with the jungle atmosphere of Florida and "go native" :)

Since LaBelle is on the Caloosahatchee River, program participants often take cruises on boats maintained by Scott "Commodore" Perry.

With 8-15 participants at the same time and several former participants gainfully employed in LaBelle, the group creates its own little community.

Wrong! Never crouch down at the water's edge lest a gator size you up as a possible meal target. Actually, gator attacks in Florida are extremely rare. But sometimes participants, like Rustam here, seem to be inviting trouble...even with this relatively small gator. Also, never feed the gators!

Each year the LaBelle Rotary Club holds an Armadillo races as part of the Swamp Cabbage Festival. Capturing the contestants makes for a fun and unique afternoon. The creatures are returned unharmed to their homes after the races.

St. Petersburg has the definitive Salvador Dali art museum.

Miami's South Beach is great fun during the day, but a little crazy and wild after dark.

Tampa's Busch Gardens zoo and amusement parks are the same distance from LaBelle like Miami - just 2.5 hours drive.

Airboat rides are an exciting way how to see Florida swamps. They are easy to organize, they are fun and very, very loud :)

All our participants want to visit the Florida Keys and Key West in particular - all only few hours drive from LaBelle.

NASA's Kennedy Space Center is an educational day trip everyone remembers.
